Chamak Patti Home was born from a simple idea: the dazzling, joyful art painted on trucks across Pakistan deserves a place in your home, not just on the highway.
For generations, truck drivers across South Asia have turned ordinary vehicles into rolling masterpieces — covered in blazing florals, hand-lettered poetry, mirrored chamak patti (the glittering decorative strips that give our shop its name), and peacocks in every colour imaginable. It's a folk art tradition built by hand, passed from ustad to shagird (master to apprentice), and it's never once needed a gallery wall to prove it belongs.
We started Chamak Patti Home to bring that same riot of colour and craftsmanship into everyday objects — trays, coasters, cushions, mugs, and wall art — so a little piece of that spirit can sit on your coffee table or hang in your hallway.
Every design we sell nods to a real tradition: the bold borders, the Urdu poetry, the florals and paisleys that have decorated trucks, rickshaws, and buses for decades. We work with artists and print partners who care about getting the details right, not flattening the art into a generic pattern.
